Photography- Between Two Worls
This project explores the experience of dual identity within the Nigerian-British diaspora. Traditional Yoruba dress, including Aso Ebi and the gele, is placed within familiar British settings such as bus stops, phone boxes and pubs to reflect how heritage and contemporary British life coexist. Rather than existing in conflict, the images highlight how cultural identity can be maintained and expressed within everyday environments.
