Photography- The Scotch Bonnet Corner

I photographed and creatively directed these images to establish the visual identity of The Scotch Bonnet Corner. Inspired by the idea of a welcoming "corner", I combined warm interiors with bold styling and editorial lighting to reflect confidence, community and contemporary Black British womanhood. The use of Scotch bonnet peppers and chillies ties the imagery back to the platform's name, symbolising both its fiery personality and the sense of warmth it aims to create.

The shoot was informed by a detailed creative plan, including visual research, location scouting, styling, props and technical considerations to ensure the imagery reflected the publication's identity.
