All My Friends
First on the list is all my friends, this stylish bar is perfect for those looking for a bar with a warm snug atmosphere. Vibrant music fills the space courtesy of DJs spinning various vinyl records on a record player placed in the middle of the bar. It’s the perfect place for an evening of dancing drinking and lively conversation. Their slogan ‘a place for the friends we've met along the way. A place for the friends we're yet to meet’ encapsulates the inclusive vibe they strive for, and they excel at creating just that. The drinks are a standard price for drinks in Hackney Wick and feature cocktails with playful names such as the ‘hackney slipper’. The downstairs area has a large array of vinyl’s available to purchase up until 10:00pm each night, which caters to music enthusiast interested in expanding their collection. Overall, this is a must-try place for your next night out in Hackney Wick!
Fabwick
Next on the list is Fabwick, a new and upcoming bar in Hackney Wick that opened on May 3rd. The interior of this bar is one of a kind, featuring a beautiful mix of antique chairs and tables that the owners Ayka and Ken said they “have been collecting for two years”.This thoughtful curation of furnishings adds a distinct charm and character to Fabwick. From Thursday to Sunday there is live music from various creatives and the owners have said there are plans for “comedy club” on Wednesday, “movie nights”, “PJ nights” and more. This bar offers something for a wide range of people so there is sure to be a night that intrigues you. So if you are looking for a bar that has more than just drinks and music Fabwick is the place to go.
Lord Napier
Lord Napier is the oldest pub in Hackney Wick, even with its historic background, it’s still a contemporary trendy pub with a well-decorated interior and rooftop bar. The rooftop bar makes it the perfect location to have a drink or two and chat with friends while the sun sets. They have many money-saving deals throughout the week with £5 margaritas on Mondays, £5 craft beer of the month on Wednesdays and 2-4-£12 cocktails on Thursdays, which I can personally say are delicious! These drink offers are great if you’re looking for an inexpensive night out. On Friday and Saturday if you are someone who likes to dance the night away Lord Napier has you covered as they have DJ’s playing a variety of music all night.
Crate Brewery
Crate Brewery, situated right by the scenic canal, offers a picturesque backdrop for enjoying drinks with friends. This spot in Hackney Wick is a “must try” according to craft beer enthusiast Carl Burnham, with its extensive range of beers available to try, such as Crate IPA, Crate Haze and Crate Pale Ale, this range ensures there's something for every palate. Burnham's personal is the “pale ale”.The brewery has a rustic feel, enhanced by warm, soft lighting inside and fairy light surrounding its perimeter outside, this combination creates a lovely atmosphere to enjoy your evening in. The space is often bustling and full of life making it another great place to go in Hackney Wick.
